I bought these as a small extra present for my three-year-old granddaughter as she was always making binoculars out of lavatory rolls at her childminder's and enjoying looking through them and I thought it would be nice for her to have some that didn't just engage her imagination. She was absolutely delighted and took them to the childminder's at the first possible opportunity. They are a convenient size for small people and they seem very robust.

My friend’s 2-year-old loves the birds in his garden and wanted to be like the grown ups with his own pair of binoculars. These fitted the bill perfectly - he loves them and can now join in with everyone else birdwatching in the garden or on walks. They are robust, so drops and knocks don’t matter.
